Firstly, we would like to thank you for your continued support and the trust you place in our transport services.
As you may already be aware, global fuel markets have experienced a significant disruption over the past week following escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East not allowing fuel reserves to get through. This has had an immediate impact on diesel pricing, with fuel costs increasing by close to 20% between Friday afternoon and Monday morning alone. We have continued to monitor this to see if things levelled out but today the fuel has again increased at pumps by a further 5%.
In addition to the sharp price increase, we are now having to closely monitor the fuel availability at certain fuelling stations thus creating further uncertainty.
Due to these exceptional and rapidly developing circumstances, we unfortunately have no alternative but to add a fuel surcharge. With effect from commencing 11th March 2026 a fuel surcharge will be added to your invoice. Due to fluctuation in prices this can be confirmed to you at the time of your booking request.
Our fuel surcharge mechanism is directly linked to fluctuations in fuel costs and will be reviewed regularly to ensure it reflects market conditions as accurately as possible. As a Company we always work hard to absorb increases wherever possible, however the scale and speed of the current world changes have made this adjustment unavoidable.
